Marketing is defined by the American Marketing Association as “the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating,delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.”
(Marketing definition approved in October 2007 by the American Marketing Association)

The meaning of the term has evolved meaning the concept of holistic, market oriented company or brand management to satisfy both consumer expectations, needs and wishes as well as those of other stakeholders.

This might sound complicated  in the beginning, but if you take a closer look, is not. It is the daily work of an entrepreneur and businessperson to find ways to draw the attention of and attract new customers and show them what their services or products can do.

Or rather:

How do I convince my customer of their need for my products/services.
And from the point of view of the customer: how can my product help him live his dream.

What do you do when you realise you are missing something,
be that a screw driver, an ingredient for a birthday cake or you have a new bodily ailment?

Right!
You ask Google for help. That works the same for your customers.
